Pak responds with terror attacks to India's CBMs

Pakistan has been betraying India from the very beginning. Be it peace talks on borders or parleys for strengthening the ties, Pakistan hardly misses any opportunity to ditch India. If we look at the 27 years of history of terrorism in J&K and CBMs initiated by New Delhi from time to time to normalise relations with it, we will find that Pakistan has been responding to India's friendship offers with terror attacks. Given its track record, it is most likely to continue sending terrorists into the Indian territory in future too. Home Minister Rajnath Singh too has showed his concern in this regard when he said India 'has always wanted to have friendly relations with all its neighbours but Pakistan has betrayed India and returned peace initiatives with terrorist attacks'. The invitation extended to heads of SAARC countries, including Nawaz Sharief, for the oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi was a step taken by New Delhi to have cordial relations with neighbouring countries and establish peace in South Asia. Despite Pakistan promising to mend ties with India, it continues to fire at the borders and infiltrating terrorists. India tried her best to live in peace with Pakistan, but it did not let it happen. It takes pleasure in promoting terrorism and disturbing peace. Pakistan is a country that has been found harbouring and funding terrorists. The agencies here have captured Pak terrorists from time to time and shown them to the world, but the international community is yet to announce any serious action against Islamabad, though it has now started condemning its terror acts. Abdul Qayoom, an LeT fund raiser in Pakistan, was caught by BSF from the border Pargwal area of Akhnoor in September this year. He is a resident of Pul Bajuan in Sialkote, Pakistan. There are several Pak militants in the jails of J&K and other Indian states. Another Pak militant Mohammad Naved of Ghulam Mustafabad, Faislabad, was caught from Udhampur on August 5, 2015 soon after he and his accomplice had ambushed a BSF convoy on the national highway near Udhampur. Bahadur Ali, also a Pakistani, was apprehended by forces from the valley during an encounter a few months back. While Pakistan has been denying its hand in terror acts on the Indian soil, the arrest of these Pak terrorists in India is the biggest proof of its being a liar.

The continued Pak support to terrorists is contrary to the assurances given by it at the highest level. Qayoom, Naved and Burhan had provided vital information about the anti-India activities in Pak terror camps. The surgical strikes on terror camps and launch pads of terrorists across the Line of Control in PoJK also belies the Pak claim that there exist no terror camps in its territory and that it is 'not a supporter of terrorists'.

India should show all these Pak terrorists, who are languishing in different jails here, to the world community through print and visual media to expose it further. India must continue with its policy of exposing Islamabad at international forums.
